It was Dr Richard Holloway who laid the foundations for the provision of health products as a family business. Dr Richard Holloway was a local Derbyshire doctor who treated patients from all over Derbyshire. His philosophy toward more holistic, human centred therapies was still very new in the Midlands at the time. During the 1970's and early 1980's he gave people more choice and a louder voice in their healthcare, something the big pharmaceutical companies that supplied him didn't like one bit! This spirit was passed on to Richard's children and wife Elizabeth who also became passionate about promoting freedom and choice in healthcare. Together they created a medley of gentle beautiful cosmetics and soap free from harsh chemicals and preservatives. Our range is inspired by the colours and smells of the Peak District, English Victorian gardens, natural products and sustainable farming methods.
