Victorian Soap Bars

Peak Soap Victorian Soap bars are inspired by Victorian kitchen gardens and the medley of ingredients used during the Victorian era. The Victorians used garden herbs in many different ways including for medicines, fragrances, cooking and cleaning. Essential oils were frequently used as petrochemical based inorganic smells had not yet been invented (lucky Victorians!).

The Victorian era saw the widespread growing and usage of common herbs with natural benefits, something that is increasingly popular. Our Victorian range of Derbyshire soap bars are blended to reflect this natural medicinal outlook. We also use essential oils and natural herbs to fragrance our soap and we pack them in traditional paper, just like the old Victorian apothecary shops.
